One of my first blog posts was about my little Keurig that my hubby bought for me. Oh the wonders that have been created for the consumer which brings me to yet another one: the peppermint mocha. I love them just not the price. I’ve started making them in our home Keurig thanks to a recipe from their website. I tweaked it just a bit to suit my taste. You can do the same.
- 1 dark roast K-Cup such as Tully’s French Roast or Green Mountain Sumatran or dark roast of your choice
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract
- 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup(add a third tablespoon if you like it a bit sweeter)
- half and half to taste
- whipped cream
Add extract and chocolate syrup to cup then brew 6-8 ounces of coffee, add half and half , stir, top it off with whipped cream…DRINK! Repeat!
