Ms. Kay’s Chocolate Candy with Peanuts

2016 is upon us and true to form the days are already flying by. Before you know it, it will be Superbowl Sunday and soon after that Valentine’s Day.  In keeping with snacks for the big game and perhaps sweets for you sweetheart, you should totally make this candy for one if not both occasions. Why? It’s super-easy and super-cheap to make. My dear friend Ms. Kay turned me on this recipe years ago and I haven’t stopped making it since.

You’ll need:

2 bags of Chocolate Chips(I used semi-sweet)

1 bag of Peanut Butter Chips

1 jar of Unsalted Dry-roasted Peanuts

Medium-size microwave safe dish

Directions:

Combine chocolate and peanut butter chips in microwave safe dish and microwave for about 5 minutes.

Check the consistency after  5 minutes and go another minute of two if you need to but do not over-cook the chips.

Stir to combine chocolate and peanut butter chips and then stir in the unsalted dry-roasted peanuts.

Spread this concoction onto an ungreased cookie sheet and pop it into the freezer for a few hours…overnight is best.

Once set, break into bite size pieces…and store in an airtight container.
