Chickpea, Sausage, and Kale Pasta

This will go down on my list of “desperation dinners” joining Blue Runners with Rice and Sausage from the actual book Desperation Dinners.  I always keep chickpeas and pasta in the cabinet so all I needed to make this dish was kale and sausage…btw…I used Chorizo. I found almost all of the ingredients at Aldi for a fraction of the cost that I would have probably paid elsewhere. The HFJ uses cherries, I opted for cranberries instead.
